On August 7,2022, an EasyJet A320 made an emergency landing at Manchester Airport. No one on board was injured. It is reported that the A320(g-ezep) from Manchester to the Spanish city of Bilbao Flight EZY1877. The aircraft in the climbing phase of the suspected bird strike, the crew to the controller and request an emergency return flight, the incident flight about 30 minutes on the Manchester Airport Runway 23R landing safely. Manchester airport fire engines were on the taxiway waiting for help before the flight landed and escorted passengers to their normal disembarkation. Easyjet reported that Flight 1877 was returning from a bird strike on takeoff. The pilot followed our procedures to return to Manchester, just as a precaution. All passengers have disembarked normally and are on a replacement flight to Bilbao. Although this is beyond our control, we apologise for any inconvenience encountered and thank the passengers for their patience and understanding.
