Emergency return! A flight has mechanical failure, suspected of being hit by a bird, passengers reported hearing a loud bang.

On May 14th, the incident occurred around 23:00 on May 13th, when passengers were on flight SL961 heading to Bangkok, Thailand. Shortly after takeoff, an unusual noise was heard, followed by a shaking of the aircraft. Soon after, the flight crew announced that they were preparing to return to the airport. The duration from takeoff to landing for the return trip was approximately one hour.

The H5 app shows that the flight took off at 23:11 and landed at 23:45. A flight cancellation certificate provided by a passenger, issued by the airline, indicates that the flight was canceled due to a bird strike.
